About Nosesafari

Nosesafari makes feeding equipment for dogs. Mats, bowls and a ball, all built around the same idea: the food goes somewhere that takes work to get it out of, and finding it becomes the activity.

What we make

A snuffle mat that takes a whole dry meal. A lick mat for the soft food a fleece mat cannot handle. A slow feeder bowl with ridges in it. A snuffle ball that fits in a bag. A pouch to keep treats in. That is the whole range, and we would rather it stayed small and good than grew and did not.

What we will not tell you

The dog enrichment market is full of claims that nobody has measured. You will find shops telling you that ten minutes of sniffing tires a dog more than an hour's walk, that licking releases specific hormones, or that a mat will fix separation anxiety or stop destructive chewing.

We do not say any of that, because we cannot show you the evidence for it. What we can tell you is what the equipment is, what it is made of, how to use it and how to wash it. If you are dealing with a behaviour problem or a health question, that is a conversation for a vet or a qualified behaviourist, not for a shop selling mats.

How we describe our products

Every specification on this site — dimensions, materials, care information — is the standard we require of the supplier who makes the product. Where we do not know something, the page says so rather than filling the gap with a guess.
